Fitway Lifestyle:

Debbie has been my personal trainer for over a year. While still challenging me, she has been mindful of my limitations. Thus, I am meeting my goals without being injured by over-extension. She has various certifications that make her especially effective in both physical exercise and in nutritional management coordination for those who need it.

VCA West Linn:

VCA West Linn is a small animal hospital fully accredited by AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association). For many years my pets have been patients with them. Dr. Melissa DeVault DVM is the main vet for my cat, Boots. She has been wonderful in addressing some medical challenges that Boots has had. When necessary, she has researched and consulted with professionals nationally to find the right course of medication treatment for a difficult bacterial strain. A knowledgeable veterinarian scientifically, she also has a warm personality, showing love and compassion for both her furry patients and their humans.


American Red Cross:

The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world, through five key service areas: Disaster Relief, Supporting America's Military Families, Lifesaving Blood, Health and Safety Services, and International Services.

The Lake Oswego Lions Club:

The Lake Oswego Lions Club is in a neighboring community to Portland, Oregon. Lake Oswego is located on the west bank of the Willamette River. The club was chartered in October of 1946. Our membership has 50 active members with a healthy cross-section of both age and gender.

Big Horn Brass:

Big Horn Brass was founded in 1983 by Andrew Harris. The performers are thirteen brass and two percussion, the finest you will hear anywhere. They combine their diverse musical skills and love of music with exacting perfection from each element in their repertoire. The mission of Big Horn Brass is to enrich the quality of life in Oregon by providing high quality music performances to community audiences, providing new brass repertoire through original compositions and arrangements, and fostering music education in schools and concert halls.

Mount Holyoke College:

Mount Holyoke College is a highly selective, nondenominational, residential, research liberal arts college for women. Mount Holyoke is renowned for educating women leaders, from medical pioneers to Pulitzer Prize-winning playwrights.

P.E.O. Education Project:

Educational Loan Fund (ELF), established in 1907, makes loans available to qualified women who desire higher education and are in need of financial assistance. An applicant must be recommended by a local chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and be within two years of completing her course of study. The current maximum loan is$12,000 for all programs of study except for doctorate degrees. The maximum loan for doctorate degrees is $20,000. The interest rate on all loans is 3% and the loan must be repaid six years from the date of issue. Following the graduation date originally stated on the application, interest will begin accruing and will be billed on an annual basis. Interest accruals and payments will not be deferred if the student continues with further study.

University Of Oregon:

The University of Oregon, founded in 1876, is the state’s flagship institution. The Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest nonprofit, limited admission/adoption guarantee cat shelter. A leader in the shelter community with its extensive shelter medicine, adoption, and foster care programs, CAT cares for 150 to 400 cats and kittens on a daily basis with the help of a dedicated team of staff and volunteers at CAT’s shelter in Sherwood, foster homes, and various offsite adoption locations throughout the Portland metro area.

Guide Dogs for the Blind is more than an industry-leading guide dog school; they are a passionate community that serves the visually impaired. All of their services are provided free of charge; they receive no government funding.

Lions are best known for working to end preventable blindness, the giving of eyeglasses and hearing aids for the needy and local service projects.

Lions Project for Canine Companions for Independence:

Founded in 1975, Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. Headquartered in Santa Rosa, CA, Canine Companions is the largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs, and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people. The result is a life full of increased independence and loving companionship.

Oregon Humane Society:

Established in 1868, OHS is the largest and oldest humane society in the Pacific Northwest. We are not affiliated with any other humane society and we rely entirely on private donations for everything we do. OHS mission is to foster an environment of respect, responsibility, and compassion for all animals through education, legislation, and leadership. To care for the homeless, to defend the abused, and to fight with unrelenting diligence for recognition of the integrity of all animals.

Wildcat Haven Santuary:

WildCat Haven is a “last hope” sanctuary located in the beautiful hills of Sherwood, Oregon. We provide a lifetime home for more than 60 neglected, abandoned, and abused captive born wildcats & hybrids. As a true sanctuary, we do not buy, sell, breed, or exhibit our rescues. We are not a zoo for people, but a safe haven for the animals who come to us. Because of this, we are NOT open to the public. However, we understand that our donors want to see where their money goes, so we do offer a few donor programs that provide on-site tours and events such as our Sponsor a Wildcat program.

The Lake Oswego Chamber activities are designed to connect you with potential clients and customers. Chamber members meet each Friday morning at a different member business for Networking, bringing together and average of 70 business leaders each week, making it one of the largest networking groups in the metro area! In addition, there are a host of Chamber events, committees and task forces throughout the year that offer members a chance to make new contacts and friends, positioning their business to be the first choice for a customer's needs.

P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization), one of the pioneer societies for women, was founded on January 21, 1869, by seven students at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Originally a small campus friendship society, P.E.O. soon blossomed to include women off campus.
